Following the emotional impact and critical acclaim of their double album “0609”, German EBM duo AD:KEY return with a powerful new EP that beats straight from the heart: “Kontraktion” on which they continue shining new light on album tracks, offering exclusive fresh versions and unreleased songs that expand on its concept of emotional and musical fusion. Framed by the instrumental pieces “Kontraktion V.01” (Prolog) and “Kontraktion V.02” (Epilog) – two synth-driven tracks inspired by the rhythmic contraction of the heart, symbolizing the album’s theme of heart fusion, the EP pulses with heart and energy. It also includes the “Prelude Mix” of “Bad Times Pass By”, originally created as a live intro, that turns into a powerful track about personal struggle and overcoming doubt. AD:KEY also welcome two legendary EBM voices: Martin Bodewell (ORANGE SECTOR) lends lyrics and vocals to the emotional “Mein Herz”, while Uwe Kanka (ARMAGEDDON DILDOS) adds his trademark power to the infectious single “Fühl Den Beat” – a tribute to shared roots and long-standing friendships.
