PROMETHEUS FLAME’s debut album “Karma Reloaded” was a notable “sleeper hit” for DWA back in 2019, rapidly selling out of its original digipak CD pressing. Fast forward to the tail end of 2025, and the first single “March on Blaze” from this new album topped the Deutsche Alternative Charts within weeks of release.
It would probably be fair to say, therefore, that expectations for “Children Of A Lesser God” are sky high – and naturally this sophomore effort does not disappoint. Crafted by the same production and artwork team as before of Dimitris Douvras (TECHNOLORGY, TEKNOVORE, C-LEKKTOR) behind the audio and Vlad McNeally (SUICIDE COMMANDO, DAWN OF ASHES) on design, George Sofianos melodic songwriting – intentionally evocative of that early 90s golden age of electro-industrial music – shines as strongly as ever.
Filled as “Karma Reloaded” before it with palpable club hit after hit, “Children Of A Lesser God” is a veritable tour-de-force for fans of dark electro/synthpop in the classic mould of VNV NATION and FRONT 242. This is an album that we fully expect to carry all before it – and if levels of interest in the physical format follow anything like the pattern of the first album we strongly recommend making sure of getting one via pre-order as soon as possible.
The gatefold digipak first edition of “Children Of A Lesser God” comes with 8-page lyric booklet, and alongside the standard digital edition will be released worldwide on May 29.
