Our Berlin duo AD:KEY close the year in beauty with the release of a new 7-track EP taken from their successful “Resonanz” album. They picked the hot Body-Pop track “I Can’t Feel You” to make us sweat and dance to this impossible-love-song between man and machine. A song that nicely blends EBM basslines with minimal catchy synth pop melodies, hammering beats, cold powerful female vocals and nice vocoder fx. “I Can’t Feel You” is delivered here in various and quite different versions ranging from old-school EBM to acid trance through minimal analog synth, thanks also to additional remixes delivered by ZWEITE JUGEND, REBIRTH and CITRIS ACID aka LETAL 30. But AD:KEY surprise us here once more by adding a second A-side to this EP with the exclusive non-album track “Can You Hear Me”. A very solid Electronic Body Music cut lead by heavy stomping beats, and fat ripping bass lines that make us want to march behind Andrea in her loud revolting assault to get her voice heard. The “reconstructed”’ mix of this song gives it a more old-school EBM dimension evoking DAF sequences and NITZER EBB bass-lines… “YES!” AD:KEY: we can hear you and we can feel you!! Keep the machines pumping!
