Following his debut album "WOMB" on X-IMG in 2024, Brussels-based OTTOMAN GRÜW returns with the "WOMB II" follow-up EP, showcasing his distinct industrial-leaning and destructive approach to electronic music once more. Two original tracks blend abrasive bass lines splayed across striding machine rhythms, layers of reverberated noise and distortion drenched vocals.
This follow-up release is expanded by four excellent remixes by UNCONSCIOUS (IT), EKATA (UK), VIDEOTRAUM (DE) and RICARDO LAINE (CAN). "WOMB II" ends with the sinister and hallucinatory-like ambient track “Born Again, Fragmented” While the previous album is more introspective and explores our relationship with the divine, intertwined with existential dread, "WOMB II" concisely embraces the other side - along the lines of madness, chaos, and the terrifying freedom that comes from tearing reality apart.
