The debut album by Hologram_ (note the underscore, which differentiates
this act from the other Hologram signed to N5md) is a rather obvious
product of its time, but in a good way. Mixing overdriven, big sound
"EDM" dubstep beats and constructions with industrial distortion and
well synthesized, melodic ambient passages, it is quite a wild ride (and
a long one). Hard to describe quickly, it often shifts from relatively
peaceful to loud and heavy, but keeps its raw, distorted feeling as a
common thread all throughout. Fresh and surprising.
