The-Pulsar is back after more than 4 years
of silence. Project was started by Alexey Boitsov and Vladimir Sokoushin
in 1996 in St Petersburg. The musicians were inspired by such EBM
classics as Front 242 & Front Line Assembly. The project became
known in Russia in 2005. One of the firsts on Advoxya in far 2005 this
band from Saint Petersburg believed in the potential of the young label,
and the label recognized the group`s sufficiently innovative ideas in
order to invite them into its roster. As a results of our mutual
collaboration were: "Awakening" (album 2005), "Re-Wakening" (remix-ep
2006), "Revolution/Reloaded" (issue of old unreleased material 2007) and
"Never" (album 2008).
The-Pulsar:
"Lyrics always played a very important role in our creation. We have
always strongly been supported by native, russian auditory. And we
wanted to convey to them the full meaning of our messages. Because, if
you using the native language - you can do it fully. I hope we succeeded
in that. At the beginning of writing process all texts, words and
feelings became in russian, so we decided do not translate them into the
english."
