Disco-noir duo sara atalar and joni juden, aka visions of trees, release their self-titled debut lp through something in construction. the album supersedes previous singles 'sirens' (deadly people) and 'sometimes it kills' (moshi moshi) - both of which were rapturously received across the blogosphere with their intricate production skills, heavy beats and dark, sultry vocals. the first full-length from the east london twosome is a dance-fueled treat; they succeed in bringing back insistent synths reminiscent of the 90's rave / house movement, with sara's tuneful goth vocals.
