The Mescaline Babies starts their work in the 2009, deeply
inspired by the deathrock of the last years, bands as Scarlet's
Remains and Christ vs. Warhol, but remembering past icons as
Christian Death and Bauhaus. With all this influences, they made
"Crush", where deathrock is melting with other genres as goth
and alternative rock. Heavy pulsing basslines, effected guitar,
powerful vocals and tribal drumming make all these eleven
tracks, where catchy post punk songs are alternated with dark
goth ballads, with lyrics who dealing with apocalypse, social
issues, love and surrealism.
