The new Swiss synth pop master rose to cult figure in the
Rosti-land electro underground scene.
After his beginnings as dark wave bass player in several small
bands he focused his composition talent on synthesizers in the
late Nineties, inspired by the German pioneers of the Seventies,
the Italo disco heroes of the Eighties and the most audacious
techno acts of the following decade.
His love for the old analog machines, robotic vocoders and
Commodore 64 music softwares became key ingredients in his
musical approach.
He co-founded the electronic duo Silicon Wafer (2005-2008),
developing with the band-mate Neiki the explicit concept of
Electro Blowjob Music, ironically exposed during their savage
live sets.
In late 2008 he released his first official solo track on vinyl
for the Italian label MCL, on Post Contemporary Corporation's
remix album "Manzotin Mantra".
Another track "Aftermath" for the compilation "Circolo della
Vela" followed in 2009.
In 2011 Codazzi is ready to release his long awaited debut
album, produced and mixed by Cristiano Santini, former frontman
of Disciplinatha.
The digipack CD layout shows a multiple portrait of Elio De
Angelis, legendary Formula 1 pilot who tragically died in 1986,
provided by the French cult race photographer Bernard Asset.
