With the album debut "Square Moon" the belgian band DER KLINKE
present a classic new-wave / cold-electro sound, which stands in
the tradition of genre-classic bands from Belgium, which were
responsible for a lot of unique electronic-based sounds during
the 80s and 90s.
The songs on this album are very well balanced between hypnotic
electro-wave tracks like the title song or "Clear Mind" and more
experimental and industrial influenced tracks like "Perfectly
Dead" or "Radio". The modern and transparent production in
combination with a highly variable collection of compositions
and lyrics create an album, which is suitable for both the
listener and the club audience.
So it's no surpise that a special appearance by THE ARCH singer
CUVG on "Where It All Ends" fits very well into the album
concept.
