It was 1995 when SHARON NEXT was founded by Michael Ruin und
Helmut Prixs in a club in Vienna. Both were playing in different
bands. It was their destiny to come together. Ruin und Prixs are
making music because of the same reasons, both love bands such
as "Joy Division", "The Smiths", "The Cure" and electronic music
in general.
In 2001 Anton Ritter joined the band. Since then he plays lots
of gigs and enriches the bands sound with his guitar-skills. The
second album "Happiness for hire" came out in June 2003. After
their reunion in 2008 and a new member, Eric Lontra, and the new
EP called "Embrace In Holyhead" SHARON NEXT now return in 2010
with their latest album "Fast Farewell".
