For the past 5 years from the moment of release of the album "Belovodie", which became a
classics of Russian neo-folk, band finally affirmed it's status of *influence band* on the
modern Russian scene, and the name of the most respected bands abroad, uniting among band's
votarys the fans of dark-folk, neo-folk, folk-metal, gothic and neo-classical... And this
album is definitely one of the most awaited in the year of 2010
"MINNESANG" - this is ritual music of XXI century, formally enrobed in unique combination of
the most actual music styles, from neo-folk and post-punk to... actually... future-pop. All
those faces of modern music combined under unique sound of MOON FAR AWAY. And we have here
at first sight most polystilistycal album, of the band, but at the same time most conceptual
from within and very personal.
The main idea of the album - the reflection of deep archetypes of female nature in the
modern art. "MINNESANG" - is the genre of middle-ages knight lirycs. Album consists of most
quantity of author lirycs in Russian, and band continues to underline own cultural
traditions, coming deeply back into ethnical traditions of Russian North.
Every track on the album is an enigma and rebus, being stowed during many years, and to
solve all of them will be necessary really not only one listening...
This is new top set by the cult band, so damn enjoy it.
