SLAVE REPUBLIC is the name of the latest addition to Accession
Records roster. The duo stand for modern Elektropop where
guitar, bass guitar and synthesizers melt together to form
danceable, clean and well-structured songs.
The band originally started in the early nineties as a quartet.
After a long silence, they re-united as a duo three years ago,
wrote new songs for a demo being produced by Olaf Wollschlaeger
(who has worked with the likes of AND ONE, PARADISE LOST, etc.).
The debut album "Electric One", being evidence of enormous
musical maturity, composing ability and long-time experience,
emerged out of a symbiosis of catchy refrains with the courage
to experiment. After a number of gigs with ASSEMBLAGE 23, the
band will present their live qualities again in spring when they
open several shows for DE/VISION and for SONO.
