Exploring on the relationship of two people isolated from each other or isolating each other, 2 is a concept album about love and sometimes the pain associated with it. The album is decidedly more pop-oriented than Technomancer's previous album, De:Harmonized, and also relying somewhat more on female vocals.
The track "Stay With Me" is an obvious remake of a hit from Technomancer's early days called "Take Me Home". The song has been rewritten and reworked completely from scratch.
The album is also notable for featuring a song in a different language than English, namely "Musika Technologika", an Italian floorfiller fit for any dance floor.
This is definitely a great dance pop album, with an edge.
