The disc begins with "Plasma Europa" and it's perfect blend of Noise-y harshness with Death
Industrial synth-buzz. A few strange samples seeping through the cracks and the vocals lean
more towards DI-style than PE. No angry shouting, just heavily filtered monotone deliveries.
"My Murder" is one of my favorites on the disc, full-on Genocide Organ old school PE damage.
More wild sampling, harshness and I think I hear some distant junk abuse on "Let The Stars
Burn Bright". Another track bringing the traditional PE/Industrial vibe is "Guardians Of
Immortality", great lingering feedback, mechanical thumps, junk abuse and disorienting,
multi-vocal layering. This is another favorite.
"...What About You?" is a full-on overblown synth roar, loud enough to shake the acoustic
tiles out of my ceiling. Next up is another Death Industrial tinged track, "Loputon Marssi
#2", heavy static rumbles over subdued, distant vocals and enough low-end thunder to make
your neighbors call the cops. "Operation Gladio" seems like an extension of the previous
track, but gets progressively more aggressive and violent. The album closer is "Nailed
(Again)". Hissy, mechanical loops revolve and spit eventually rising to a fever pitch. The
vocals are so filtered and distorted they just serve to add another source of noise to the
mix.
Besides bringing excellent sounds to the table and constructing them well, one thing I like
is the ability to keep them short and too the point. And he seems to keep things minimal but
interesting. A lot of PE/Noise seem to take the more is better route until things are a
soupy mess. The disc is housed in a nice, white cardboard box with the cover art affixed to
the top, an insert and two Grey Wolves-style art-war cards. This release seems still pretty
readily available, so I thought I'd point out this over-looked gem to those who might have
missed it.
