Maxime Robin cuts little sound pieces of records found in the “1$ bin” and paste those in a way that most find electro hiphop not unlike music by Jay Dee, Prefuse73 or Ghislain Poirier. Maxime is also a videast; in the same way he use sound, he finds interesting visuals that he chops in little pieces and rearrange to make nice and very musical videos. The first screening is usually at his local Kino night and then wherever short independant videos are welcome. His understanding of audio and video equipment lead him to do some VJ gigs (live video performance) and some soundtrack work on various projects. Program director at CHYZ, he host the only show about instrumental hiphop in Quebec called Un thé avec Stella.
