The Czech dark-electro act MULPHIA return in 2009 with two
years' worth of new material, entitled "Wartorn". Whilst
maintaining the general dark-electro line and the unique sound
of previous albums, Richard 'Mulphia' has created here a more
aggressive and multistyle key, turning to the thematics of star
wars and intergalactic expeditions. According to his words:
"Can you imaginate a distant future? A distant universe? A
distant planet? Lost shelter for few men from the Brigade of 50
guns. Last real heroes from the furious intergalactical war.
Last 50 soldiers who are trying to save planet Earth during this
war. Private Hackman, Dylan, Vance, Lance, Baker maybe didn't
reach NeoJericho but we will never forget. We must believe. We
must give our prayers for these brave men. We must pray for the
Brigade of 50. Our last chance. Last chance for survival of
mankind. And these men have emotions and feelings. They feel
loneliness. Homesickness. They miss theirs ...to be continued."
