Founded in 2002 by Tandrin under the name "Projekt Rosenh÷he",
MECHANICAL MOTH combines elements of electronic music, gospel and even soul with symphonic and orchestral sounds. Between 2002
and 2007, vocals were provided by Matricide, and during this
time three albums were released: "Fallen Into You" (2004),
"Torment" (2005) and "The Sad Machina" (2007). Now, finally,
the gap left by her departure has been filled - in the form of
Ivy.
Prior to joining the band she was actually working with Tandrin
on a rock side-project where she won him over her broad vocal
talent. Because of Ivy's soul and gospel voice, the style of
MECHANICAL MOTH has changed a lot, evolving into a more
experimental mixture of gothic, electronic and soul. The title
of the fourth album, "Rebirth" therefore stands indeed for a new
start and a new direction in the sound of this talented and
unique act in the gothic/electronic field!
CD comes with 13 regular audio-tracks plus additional data
and sound for PC with lots of remixes, photos and other bonus
material.
