Nuxx is continuing her frenetic pace. The industrial-EBM project of Madeline Seely is, simply put, not fucking around. Nuxx is returning with a new-look five song EP, preceded by lead single and title track “Bird Brain” (co-produced with Uniform’s Ben Greenberg). After spending the year criss-crossing North America, and making her European debut, Nuxx is ready for redefinition. She’s taken to calling it Electronic Bitch Music. After spending the early part of the decade rolling around on NYC’s dingiest floors, Nuxx is brushing some of the dirt off. Bird Brain is Nuxx’s red-carpet rollout. She’s pulling a faux-fur coat over the latex bodysuit and shedding the black lights for spotlights. Bird Brain is music for reinvention. Cutting every shirt you own into a crop top. Dying your own hair without reading the package. The songs demand you dance—at the club, in the driver's seat, or in your mirror dripping mascara. It’s less who you are and more what you are.
