Sleep Forever, the solo project of Zurich-based Markus Weber (Veil Of
Light), returns to DKA with "Alter Ego", the follow up to 2022’s
"Boyhood". "Alter Ego" finds Weber celebrating abundance and embracing
his love for 80s and 90s soundscapes while also keeping a strong focus
on polished arrangements and thoughtful songwriting that remains deeply
personal whether it be in full-bodied anthems or moments of timid
vulnerability. From forsaken escapism through frantic invocation, Weber
upholds a sincerity in exploring matters close to the heart, manifesting
a subtle grasp of the human experience.
Fans of late 80s Depeche Mode, OMD, Eleven Pond, and Parade Ground will
appreciate Sleep Forever’s sleek approach to synth-pop. The 12 tracks on
"Alter Ego" present a sophisticated new take on synth music that we

is available as a digital release and a limited-edition cassette
pressing of 120 copies.
