It was in 2016 when the TRACKOLOGISTS, collaborative effort of HEIMSTATT YIPOTASH and THE_EMPATH entered the stage with their praised “No Surrender, No Retreat“ album. They presented a unique sound rooted in IDM, electronica and EBM synthetic and human vocals; and among a plethora of intuitive tracks, “Suicide with Plastic Gun” was regarded the strongest contender.
So, six years down the road its well worth revisiting that hit: Get the original, retro futuristic digitalism by SHORAI, a dark Brussels-style EBM version by BLAC KOLOR, analogue grit with a distinct alternative vocal take by PHILIPP MÜNCH, a vintage EBM stomper by THE PSYCHIC FORCE and a new track "What is Your Purpose" by TRACKOLOGISTS feat. The_Empath that radiates Kraftwerkian grandeur.
