Senkrecht Records proudly present their first compilation cassette, including outstanding and promising bands (both older and newer) from the European darkwave/postpunk/minimal synth community. The concept of the compilation was to release songs that were not published in physical format before. The French Saigon Blue Rain, the Slovakian-Hungarian ImiAFan and the Hungarian Cawatana appear with previously unreleased songs on the compilation, the Hungarian Új Látásmód Fúzió with a previously unreleased version of an older song, while the Austrian Mitra Mitra, the Danish Pulsations, the Turkish Ductape, the Ukrainian Sexual Purity and the Hungarian Empty Story and Utolsó Hullám are providing tracks that were only available online until now (and for the last three mentioned bands it's the first physical release ever).
The title of the compilation is the name of our party and concert organizer branch, SenkWaves. These bands and their music demonstrate the direction SenkWaves follow and represent. These songs will appear in SenkWaves parties, and hopefully we can meet these bands live as well.
