Recording and performing electronic music as a part of cult EBM project Die Selektion for over a decade, Berlin-based musician Leere Städte has also been recording as a solo project for a while now, yet this EP is the very first recording of the project coming to birth as a proper release, and we're super thrilled to introduce it to you here on Antibody.
The EP contains four titles written, recorded and produced in autumn 2021 in a pretty straightforward fashion using a small setup of four synthesizers, a drum computer and voices.
"The texts on the EP depict a past state of intimate chaos, crisis, loss of control and upheavals... It is not always clear whether it's everyday life or more cinematic scenes that are described here, or if these things happened on a molecular level."
