Shhadows 2nd EP Bloodwork picks up where “Renewal" left off. It was made during the darkness and confusion of the pandemic. The songs reflect a journey of isolation, depression and longing while also inducing an intense sense of power and hope. Songs like “Out For Blood” and “Daze Gone” are aimed right for the clubs as well as a modern take on Killing Joke’s Classic “Love Like Blood”. As with the 1st Shhadows release, it is meant to be listened to as a whole from start to finish. The album weaves through strong vocal tracks and atmospheric soundscapes. Vocalists Rieya, SORROWS and Dru Allen (This Ascension/Mercury’s Antennae) bring their unique talents front and center to elevate each song to a new level. Enjoy the ride.
