‘EARTH INFERNO,’ the second full-length album from SØLVE, set to release on June 07th through Re:Mission Entertainment, takes the solo project further into difficult and uncomfortable landscapes. In many ways eschewing all genre tags for an immediate and intimate dive into a deeply emotional listening experience. Taking its name from the infamous work by Austin Osman Spare, ‘EARTH INFERNO’ marks a more raw, direct, and personal approach from SØLVE in his follow up to 2016’s ’THE NEGATIVE’ (reissued by Re:Mission Entertainment in 2021). Expanding his use of lavish textures and introspective sound-design into sentimental and heartfelt passages, SØLVE manages to build a lush narrative of love and loss within the context of his spiritual path. ‘EARTH INFERNO’ explores a different side of the dark with heavy leanings into melancholy themes and an endeavor to come to terms with the unpredictable nature of life - navigating the search for meaning in a world that is capable of so much love and beauty while simultaneously cruel and profoundly unfair.
