The German dark electro band davaNtage will release their 6th studio album in December 2021. 14 years after "Over The Pass", "Blinders" is now released. The typical dNt sound is expanded by some facets, so now synthwave, big beat and electronica belong to it as a matter of course, without blurring the own roots.
The songs were written in the last 3 years and tell the personal and contemporary events of the last decade. Besides the new single "Vandals Landing", the electro smasher "Autobahn", "Consolation" and "Juveniles" step into the light. Songs like "Take Shelter," "I Don't Die," and "Grey Roads" blend the gritty and playful sides of the band.
Singer Beam adds a somber and driving attribute to the work, alternating with Mel's voice, also known from the band Future Trail togehter with René, to create a timeless and anthemic electro album.
