The debut LP in 1984 brought a mixture of Hi-NRG disco and new wave sound. Around the same time, the single, 'That's the Way (I Like It)', originally by KC & Sunshine Band, also charted in the UK. The big success, however, came after the change to the producer team Stock Aitken Waterman. In late 1984, their single 'You Spin Me Round' (Like A Record) entered the UK charts and shortly after became a chart-topper (USA #11). Since then Dead Or Alive have sold more than 30 million albums and BILLBOARD magazine lists them among the 100 most successful dance artists.
After Pete Burns' death, recording could not continue for an album originally planned and started in 1990. Collaborator Steve Coy has now found these recordings in the archive and released them for this compilation.
The high-quality 2CD set comes in A5 format and includes instrumentals and some extended mixes for all tracks.
