"LACERATIONS” is the first single from Curse Mackey’s highly anticipated new album “IMMORAL EMPORIUM”. Mackey, well-known in industrial music circles as the vocalist for industrial supergroup Pigface as well as his work wth My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, , Clan of Xymox and SINE is one of the most notable industrial/darkwave artists who lived through the pandemic in Austin, Texas. Featuring six new cuts, “LACERATIONS” picks up where Curse left off on his debut album INSTANT EXORCISM with a dark, driving beat, genre-bending synths, and Mackey’s voice sounding as sharp and on-point as ever. With the added presence of modular synth wizard Justin McGrath to the production team, “Lacerations” pushes the boundaries of modern industrial and dark wave into ever deeper territory. This release also features several remixes of the title track by Mackey and Chase Dobson as well as remixes from the ever popular Darkwave duo Twin Tribes! This release will coincide with Mackey’s first live shows in eighteen months since his tour with Darkwave legends Clan of Xymox was cancelled due to the pandemic mid-way through on Mar 14, 2020.
