Still Dark Sky's title track was written just before the UK went into lockdown for the first time - news of the approaching pandemic felt surreal and disturbing, but at the time everyday life remained unchanged. Each song that followed relates to a feeling or issue that has always existed, but which was inevitably amplified by the strange times in which it was born. I wanted the songs to be cathartic - Still Dark Sky is my most upbeat and uncompromising album yet. You can dance to it. This album is here for anyone needs to process things via loud, heartfelt music.
