The second EP by Designer Violence, "Televised State Lies", sees the Dutch queer all-female industrial act expand their sound into a more expansive, melodic whole, while their lyrics explore both the deeply personal and the intensely political. The question "waar gaat dit heen" ("where is this going") echoes throughout the EP and reflects the band's feelings towards the social and political developments of the past year.
