Our third studio album. It has collaborations on the voices of Alfonso Pichardo (Moenia), Alberto Palazón (Silica Gel), Dennis Schober & Vadot (Solitary Experiments), Alex Braun (!Distain), Patricia Segura (Ézaro) and Citlali Molina (Géminis 2).
It's a recount of some covers we did between 2004 and 2018, reimagined in a synth-pop setup that includes songs by Suzanne Vega, Depeche Mode, Yazoo, SURVIVE, Roxy Music, Angelo Badalamenti, and Joe Crow.
‘Trasladar’ (transfer / translate) is synonymous with ‘trasegar’: pouring a liquid from one glass to another (to oxygenate it, if it is wine). And in the case of 'Traslaciones', it would mean the very action of fully identifying songs and extracting them from their original context, to "oxygenate them." These exercises allow us to learn and resolve musical concerns, relocate certain criteria, and also reinforce a identity.
These pieces have as a point of reference various artists that we admire, in which we add recharges of energy even of a different nature to that of their original nature. They were training for quite some time, to be able to accumulate experience in music production, with relative formal and expressive security.
