New Minuit Machine’s EP "Basic Needs" is a mix between cold, EBM, and darkwave genres. From one track to another, emotions change and make us drift with the stormy mood of the duet. The title track « Basic Needs » plays on the obvious contrast between the indifferent words and the playful composition with oriental accents. The second track « Sisters » is an anthem for women’s unity, a reminder that we all share this unique and unbreakable link. Then, « Vanity » brings the EP to a close with its cold and obsessing melodies, a mixed between EBM rhythms and dark wave synths.
