Stacian "X2020" cuts right to the chase with "Grey Fate" and "Lapse", featuring blistering synth lines, distorted kick drums and a sense of urgency about our world in chaos. Track three is Black Light Smoke's stripped down, EBM-type rework of "Grey Fate", giving this left-field EP a home on dungeonous dance floors. Stacian's sound is rooted in minimalism and punk philosophy, which she delivers in spades on X2020.
Stacian is Dania Luck, whose other projects include CLONER, Person L, Māren, and her DJ pseudonym Luck Croix, with influences of electronic, industrial, punk, no wave and new age.
