“When REACTOR7X frontman Ad-X presented us his new project with the sensual female vocalist Yu, it was simply love at first listening”, Seba Dolimont says – head of the Alfa Matrix label. The song “Happiness Imperative” then got released on multiple compilations and instantly became a dark elektro club hit classic!
Today we are proud to release this debut 8-track EP by H.O.W. (standing for HER OWN WORLD). An opportunity for the Polish duo to reveal the wide and quite eclectic sound range of their project, a subtle colorful cocktail of alternative music genres going from dark elektro to synth pop through industrial dance with a touch of trance, the whole carried away by the bewitching and highly addictive catchy vocals of Yu. H.O.W. writes engaged lyrics against our society’s dysfunctions and the psychological disorders it generates and Yu then distills them into own stories, into her own world…
H.O.W.’s upbeat industrial pop tunes got remixed by a quite diverse selection of artists reinforcing the eclectic sound approach of the band each injecting their own influences ranging from house / trance to electro / industrial or yet future pop / Eurodance, thanks to AESTHETISCHE, NEIKKA RPM, INVA//ID, SWITCHFACE, JEREMIAH KANE and FREAKY MIND.
