‘Oblivion’ is the first single from white.light.monorail, and the lead release from the band’s new album ‘The Gravitational Field Of Oblivion. Showcasing the bands composition and remixing skills in equal measure, the single features three highly diverse versions of the title track, as well as one b-side ‘Continental Grift’. While the album mix accompanies the bands debut video, the ‘Everything is Epic’ version takes things in a more danceable direction with strong shoegaze influences, while the ‘Self Inflicted’ version chills the mood with a vocoder driven triphop vibe. The video was shot in San Francisco’s now defunct Faultline Studios, and demonstrates the bands commitment to their DIY aesthetic, as all aspects from shooting to post-production were performed by the band themselves.
