For Ohne Zukunft, Italian producer Hålbå displays granular textures and dystopian grooves to embody his vision of an uncertain future. Through drone-like rumbles and syncopated kick drums he conveys ideas of chaos despair and distress. Above foggy and intoxicating sonorities, martial and syncopated percussions keep the tracks moving forward.
