Mannequin Records is proud to present the debut EP from a new meeting of minds. Amato & Adriani began as a B2B with two seasoned veterans, but has quickly grown into an enthralling live act and studio project drawing upon two vast musical histories. As The Hacker, Michel Amato is credited with pioneering entire new genres over multiple decades, whilst Alessandro Adriani’s knowledge of musical obscurities lends itself to one of the most innovative labels in operation today. Mannequin Records is an ongoing research project tying threads between industrial, wave and minimal synth music to provide a refined aesthetic understanding of musical subcultures from the ‘80s to the present day. This collaborative spirit is elevated further on 'Liar' by vocals from Stephen Mallinder - founding member and voice of UK industrial legends Cabaret Voltaire.
