For about five years singer Helen Vogt and producer/songwriter Sascha Blach have been working secretly on their mutual project Lighthouse In Darkness, which finally sees the light of day with the album „The Melancholy Movies“. Together they created a filmic album, which combines elements from Trip-Hop, Electronica and soundtracks. It has a unique sound, which appears yearningly, emotional and nostalgic – like a cinema for the ears. Cinematic Trip-Hop for fans of Massive Attack, Portishead, Goldfrapp, Dead Can Dance, Lana Del Rey or Woodkid.
