Denial is lvl’s 2003 follow-up album to Devil’s Advocate. Denial marks a
transition from the project’s use of chugging guitars and evolves into
an elaborate adventure of electronic programming and synths. Originally
released in 2003, the album’s 14 tracks have been remastered and
upgraded with 6 rare/unreleased bonus tracks.
Denial ranges from synth pop tracks like "End Title" and "Open Mind" to
the dance floor energy of "Home," tribal chanting of "What Free Is" to
the live-bass/guitar intensity of "Decide." The album’s bonus tracks
include rare vocal tracks "Monophase" and "Instinctive Reaction" and a
mesmerizing beat & synth driven instrumental "Holding." The final
bonus track once again reunites brothers Klayton (Celldweller, Circle of
Dust, Scandroid) and Dan (lvl), as their musical projects collide in
the Celldweller remix of "Home."
