The newest opus in Isidor's discography titled 3218 came a long way
since his previous effort Dark Night Genesis in many ways. From the very
opening of the album the tone is set for an even harder and more
melodic, more complex in that matter, album, which gives an opportunity
to a listener to gaze upon the monuments of the decade of '80s. This
album presents a step further in a production sense, as it is crisp and
hard hitting, which can be lined up amongst the greatest albums of New
Retro Wave to this date. As a personal favourite, I would put Star Dust
with its sort of Aerobic motion and ambient powered sci-fi anthem
Secrets of the Universe. Of course, if you are an adrenaline junkie and
love to ride your BMX, you should definitely play Star Sheriff on your
Walkman device. 3218 is an amazing effort from beginning 'till the very
end, without any weak spots, highly praised and highly recommended for
your listening pleasure. Two thumbs up!
