NYNEX is a collaboration project between Maxim Nazarov and Bill
Mattinson (aka GM2), formed in NYC in 2015. NYNEX sound has been
evolving from the archaic realms of house and techno. Celebrine is a
Moscow-based duo consisting of Katya Celebrine and Ilya Dmitriev (aka
Alien Delon). Since 2011 they create mystic electronic music combining
the elements of alternative pop, analog synthesizers and Katya's
extraordinary vocal abilities.
While working on "Katya" EP the main goal for NYNEX was to create
absolute pop hits with post-apocalyptic club and R'n'B vibes suitable
for the performance of a true diva, which happens to be Katya Celebrine.
Most of the tracks were written in Brooklyn, NYC while Katya has
remotely recorded her vocals in a secluded village near Suzdal, Russia.
