iEuropean was established in 2010 by Seán Barron in Dublin, Ireland. It was initally a solo project with the idea of featuring guest musicians/singers on each track. The music varies but is mainly electronic based and has been described as “like taking a walk in Rome or Venice, you think it can’t get any better and then you turn a corner" (Clive Pierce from HardCorps).
Ruth Lalor was asked to contribute vocals for one of Seán’s tunes and has since become a full time member as lead vocalist. November of 2014 saw the release of their debut EP entitled “Activity of Sound” featuring Wolfgang Flür (ex-Kraftwerk).
2017 sees the release of their debut album Into the Unknown. Seán has been involved in the music scene since the 1980’s and has worked with many established artists over the years, also being an ex member of the Synth Pop act Empire State Human where he recorded 3 studio albums during that period. Ruth is a trained vocalist and has been performing since she was 7 years old. She started songwriting at the age of 15 and has been involved in radio, film and stage. Ruth brings soul to iEuropean and has created a unique twist to the electronic act.
