Adoration Destroyed has arrived with a sound that simultaneously harkens back to the dark electronic music of the past, seductively merged with bleeding-edge production culled from modern EDM. On the heels of the successful single “Carnal Dirge,” that Intravenous Magazine called “a smoldering blend of steady dance beats, grooving bass and rhythmic dance leads that will play well to dancefloors around the world,” Cleopatra Records will be releasing Adoration Destroyed’s debut album Ritual Damage on September 9th. This Austin, Texas based band features leader Erik Gustafson (16volt) on synths and vocals and a scorching live band that consists of Eirik Ashe on drums and Jon Gilyeat on bass. Look for a full U.S. tour in support of Ego Likeness that will start around Halloween, a rather fitting time of year for the somber sonnets, eyeliner and electro-dirge of Adoration Destroyed!
