Kardinaljävel is the band that comes out from the most religious part of
Sweden. If the band name (Cardinal Bastrad) is a reaction on this fact,
we don’t know but we sure know that the unholy mix of genres, mash up
in a unique sound. On the single you can hear traces from the pioneers
of industrial music like S.P.K and Throbbing Grisle mixed with EBM
origins like D.A.F and Liaisons Dangereuses. All blended in an organic
and amplified monotonous mix under a dark cape of minimal techno. Rarely
have we heard such a raw genre mix like this.
Kardinaljävel is the debut single for this project but this is not the
work of a debutant. Kardinaljävel has previous work in already mentioned
genres and got plenty of releases behind under different names.
