Classy electronic act NÖVÖ positively surprised many of you with the
rather future-past retro path taken on his recent 4th studio full length
CD entitled "Zeitgeist". "Let It Be Known Today" is the second EP
released from this album plunging us once again in Laurent Boudic's
personal interpretation of the good old classic EBM / New Wave era
through alluring vintage analogue synth sequences, electronic bleeps,
pulsing bass lines and prominent vocals with that little French accent
and melancholic cold touch clearly evoking the cult 80's act TRISOMIE
21. "Let It Be Known Today" is for sure another highlight from NÖVÖ's
sophomore album which deserved an own stand-alone release allowing us to
rediscover this poignant song in 4 new versions including an extended
Kraftwerkian rework with vocoder and floating synth layers by Belgian
label-mates of METROLAND as well as a darkish and poignant remix by
FLOOD VEYOR… Fans of early FRONT 242, KRAFTWERK, FAD GADGET and other
early 80's heroes should adore NÖVÖ's sonic atmosphere and lush music
spectrum…Addictive pure synthetic music.
