Her Ghost EP is a concept album about a dream that I have had since I
was 14 years old, which stemmed from far too much Cradle of Filth
imagery and Gothic Fiction. In this dream I am confronted with a lover
who has been burned at the stake by the townsfolk in an old forest and I
repeatedly go back to these woods to find her ghost - often claiming to
seek revenge for her murder and summoning dark spirits. The tracks are
presented in story order and display the inscription "She whispered to
the wind at midnight, and the trees danced for her."
