After the extremely good reaction on the ‘Necromanteion IV [ r e d i s c o v e r e d 2012 ]’ re-release, Artaud Seth decided to continue in this series with ‘Dawn’ – another Gothic classic from 2001 and true masterpiece of the genre. It will be followed by a re-release of ‘Enki’s Temple’ (1991) in spring.
Dawn exceeds even the most daring expectations that had been conjured up in the run-up to its publication. From the first minute one is engaged in the invocation of a dark and ominous atmosphere. Indeed, the cover alone: featuring a horned shaman immersed in red flames and holding a baby in his claws, abducts the listener into the occult world of shamanism and magic. The current re-mastered version exhibits the original studio album in a new sound! By applying the most up-date studio technology alongside the original sound equipment the primary focus remained firmly on the best possible re-creation of the original analogue recordings and thus resulting in the most authentic match for the sound quality which has distinguished this music since its inception and original publication in the year 2001.
