| PARRALOX are a incredibly poppy electropop duo formed in
Melbourne, Australia, in 2008. This band has more releases on the
label Conzoom than any other, but sadly all previous titles are
now deleted unfortunately (although here at Music Non Stop we
still have stock left of some of them). In fact, things have been
quiet for a long time at PARRALOX headquarters, but now Conzoom
are able to annouce the return of John von Ahlen and Amii
Jackson. And to celebrate this comeback accordingly, two new
PARRALOX "EPs" (both album length actually...) will be released
on the same day! On the first, the cover of RADIOHEAD's "creep"
finally appears in CD format, and in eight different versions,
too! "Creep" also features 2 more new tracks and a long "Megamix
Classique", assembling the best sonorities from PARRALOX's
previous, deleted releases in one mix.
If ever there was a new band to encapsulate and emulate the
legendary stylings of DEPECHE MODE, THE HUMAN LEAGUE, ERASURE,
NEW ORDER, PET SHOP BOYS and the spirit of MADONNA in her 80s
day-glo era, then Australia's PARRALOX are a modern-day
reincarnation. With a love for all things synthetic, surreal and
science fiction, there are very few relevant and contemporary
bands making electronic pop today like PARRALOX. Their passion
for razor sharp production with a stylistic flair that is both
vintage-fabulous and future-chic puts them at the forefront of
pop culture.
