Anti Trust was founded in 1986 by Haiko Herden from Hamburg as a solo project after he had worked with the NDW / Minimal-Electro-Legend Charles Lindbergh and the New Wave-Bands "News On Friday" and "Cruel Vengeance". After 5 self produced tapes Anti Trust ended 1986 into "The Evasion On Stake" and made itself a respected name in the tape-scene.
With the beginning of the 3rd millennium Anti Trust got reanimated since it was again time for minimalistic sounds. After a CD-R and some compilation contributions the first offical CD album was released in April 2006 on NWL. The CDA is a mix of older works and new recordings for lovers of Minimal Electro and New Wave.
The sound is clearly oriented by the 80ies, catchy-minimalistic and danceable while the lyrics move in obscure nearly dadaistic worlds.
