Carlos (the main force behind ASSEPTIC ROOM and former member of
the band DIOXYDE) has been working as a DJ on one of the finest
and most famous dancefloors in Madrid since 1988. Cult acts
such as LE╞THER STRIP, PANKOW, FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY, SKINNY
PUPPY, INFACT, CLICK CLICK and THE KLINIK were only some
references that would later influence him. One strange day back
in 1998, Carlos met Marcos during a hard and severe
EBM/industrial session and DIOXYDE was born.
Between 1999 and 2000, Carlos and Marco sent a demo tape to
Johan van Roy of SUICIDE COMMANDO, who received this files with
a remarkable enthusiasm. Headhunter Johan immediately contacted
them to express his support for this interesting and amazing
project. Managed by Johan Van Roy, they played at Noise Terror
II in Belguim, alongside bands like SLEEPWALK, INFACTED, IMPLANT
- and of course - SUICIDE COMMANDO.
In 2002, Carlos began work on his side experiment, ASSEPTIC
ROOM, a solo project which was to give him a new perspective. In
February 2004 he decided to leave DIOXYDE for prepare new
material for ASSEPTIC ROOM, and the debut album "Morbid Visions"
was released on DSBP Records in 2006. Now he is back with the
long-awaited follow-up, "Visceralofobia".
